Andreas Marcher and Paolo Polloni journey began in 1999 with the opening of Ragazzi Ristorante and Pizzeria The name “Ragazzi,” meaning “good buddies” in Italian, reflects their friendship and collaborative spirit. The restaurant quickly became a favorite among locals and visitors, known for its vibrant atmosphere, authentic wood-burning pizza oven, and a menu featuring classic Italian dishes. Ragazzi also earned acclaim for its extensive wine list, receiving the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence for eleven years, and in 2010, it achieved the rare accolade of Best of Award of Excellence
Building on the success of Ragazzi, Paolo and Andi launched Luca in 2007, located within the luxurious Caribbean Club on Seven Mile Beach. Luca offers a contemporary Italian menu in a sleek, upscale setting with amazing views of the Caribbean Sea.
The restaurant emphasizes attention to detail, from a carefully curated wine cellar boasting over 1.600 different labels to ingredients sourced directly from Italy. The interior, designed by a team from Italy, features modern décor, including hand-blown Venetian glass and designer cutlery, creating a dining experience that is both elegant and unique.
